The challenge in this project was to bring this seventies bungalow into these modern times. The Boutique Villa is tucked away in de mountains at a distance of about 3 minutes\u2019 walk of the center of the small village San Carlos, on Ibiza. The views towards Morna valley are breath taking. In our design we secured that those staying in the house had every opportunity to enjoy the view. Hence, we took down hindering walls and had these replaced by glass, a comfortable staircase now leads to the glass front door. Throughout the house and guest house micro cement was used, even on the terrace. This way there is no distinction between inside and outside. The roof terrace turned into a chill out area and the garden on the rear side with its jacuzzi and outside shower, now connects the main house and the guesthouse.<\/p>\n
